Fuel for Thought: The Nutritional Keys for Cognitive Health

Presented by Roberta Anding and Leslie Bonci

A variety of superfoods such as salmon, berries, seeds, nuts, spices, and vegetables in bowls and plates.

Description

Brain health has long been overlooked as an area of clinical nutrition education. As consumers become interested in the prevention of chronic illness, practitioners should have the most current, evidenced-based information on the role of nutrition in optimizing brain health. Additionally, chronic illness, both metabolic and neurogenerative, can have an impact on brain function, and the role of nutrition cannot be understated. Nutrition principles integrated with appropriate supplementation will be addressed.
