Patricia Geels

Patricia Geels, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and an assistant professor at Indiana University South Bend. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Ball State University and completed a PhD in interdisciplinary health sciences in 2023. Her research is informed by her 10+ years in clinical practice. It explores the role of speech-language pathologists in oncology care as well as understanding the experiences of survivors affected by cancer-related cognitive impairment.
